Through the rocks ...

Just got back from a quick xmas trip to Phoenix & Casa Grande. We came home through the Salton Sea and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Between Ramona and Escondido, CA is this little trail down Clevenger Canyon (North). It starts by passing under this imposing pile of rocks. Just a few miles from home, nice place to stretch legs. Numbskulls have been throwing bottles all over the place, though. 12/27/2005

Casa Grande, AZ

Ran out to Phoenix for xmas ... Here's the main ruin at Casa Grande, AZ - with a friendly saguaro in foreground. There is a large canopy built over the main ruin, to help protect it. Remains of other buildings are all around, as far as the eye can see. 12/26/2005
